Nature-Inspired Paintings

I have experienced the tree from the very beginning of its growth, as a seed or a small plant…

As time passes, in the same atmosphere that we breathe together, beneath the same wind and subject to the earth’s gravity, its form grows immense. It rises above my humble height, hides my sun and calls down to me from above… “We live together, we exist… take delight in me!…”

I observe trees as an assemblage of small formations within larger ones, in both drawing and painting, where their movement within the atmosphere created by hand has a distinctive quality!

I would say that every tree is a society, much like a human one, where everything upon it coexists in a democratic way, with balance and harmony.
